Hi, I'm trying to correct my credit report after chapter 13 bankruptcy. I finally got the credit card companies to report a $0 balance due. However, not they are reporting the comments "included in bankruptcy, $4,035 written off"

Are they allowed to report written off, after bankruptcy has been discharged?

The comments do not hurt your score and the included in BK is actually very good as most BK fail to make the details available on most accounts that have been included in bankruptcy. Written off really just says the same thing as included in BK and means nothing at all.
Of course any accounts stay on credit for seven years not until a BK is discharged.
Get new credit going and make sure all your reports show your BK accounts included in BK zero balance.

The best thing to to is to dispute the trade lines with the credit reporting agency’s. It is the resposibility of the CRA's (credit reporting agencies) to report 100% accurate information on your credit report if they fail to comply they must delete the trade line. I have been repairing credit for my clients for a long time and I would be happy to help you with the letters you need to fix your credit (free of charge) I hate the cra's and I will help anyone I can!
