I have disputed some late payments on my credit cards online. Usually they come back as investigated and still remain the same. I was late on the payments but someone told me to dispute and usually they can't prove it and thay come off. It hasn't worked for me is there another way?Also, I want to pay off some debt using a service that settles with the credit cards and then I pay the service a fee. Will this effect my credit since they will have to close my accounts out?Thank you,
