Hi, Bo Your website is awesome!

I have a collection account that was reported to the bureau on 4/2002. I had been paying the account, but come to find out, it had to be paid off by a certain time and if it werent, they wrote it off and reported you as delinquent. This is for a dcotor's bill. I paid off the $100 immediately in 2002. The status shows as paid on my credit report, but it still shows as a collections account. How can i request that this be removed?

Beyond this collection account, last year i decided to co-sign on my brother's car loan. BIG mistake, but I wanted to give him a chance, like I was given at his age. I have found out that he has been late 5 times. But he shot by high 600 credit score down to 560. Is there any possible way to get these removed? I have taken on the payments to ensure that they are paid on time. Please advise. I am so stressed about this situation. Very hard lesson learned.

number one.
You might dispute it as not yours and hope.
number two.
I sold cars for 14 years. I explain these potentials to all who co sign. Sell the car and pay off the loan as fast as possible. The brother just does not deserve help
