Need some good credit. Got turned down for a credit card

I need your help. I recently applied for a store credit card (Brandsmart) and they denied for the following problems:
-age of oldest account( I dont know what that is)
-delinquency, adverse pulic record or collection ( I have never been send to collection, I dont know what the other two things means)
- no open bankcard accounts reported (I do have 3, 1 under my name and the other 2 under my name and my husbands, what can i do so that the bank report the bank cards?)
-two few accounts currently paid as agreed (what does that means)

I NEED YOU TO EXPLAIN ME HOW CAN I FIX MY CREDIT AND WHAT DOES THE 4 FACTORS LISTED MEANS, PLEASE!! I DONT KNOW WHAT MY CURRENTLY CREDIT SCORE IS BUT SOME MONTHS AGO I HAD IT ON ITS 500'S
