Will filing unemployment hurt my credit?

I was recently let go at my work and was thinking of filing for unemployment for a month or so... will thatmess up my credit score down the road? Thank you,

That will not show up on your credit report at all unless you applied for credit and listed unemployment as your basis for montly income. And in that event the listing only shows as a job listing not credit.
