Thanks for the quick response. I do have 3 open lines of credit in good standing. I have not gone over the credit limit nor have I made any late payments. One card increased my limit by $250 and another will be increased by $200 in 3 more billing cycles. Unfortunately, I opened 2 of the accounts less than 6 months ago (nearly 4 months ago). I know that is not long enough..... I have had the other card for over 1 year. They each have less than a $10 balance on them. One has $5. One has $2 and one has $8. I saw on your website that it is a score booster to keep the cards at less than 80% of the balance. I am trying desparately to get the lowest score up. I just don't know how to go about doing that? I had a negative item deleted from my credit report which allowed my Experian score to go from a 628 to a 640 in less than a month. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am going to try and purchase a home in a couple of years. I don't want a lender to reject my loan or to give me an astronomical interest rate.

your high credit limits are low too
you have whats called a thin credit file
one needs some pretty big high credit to go for a home loan
if you have 10 to 20 % down you should be ok thought
ask to have your credit limit increased on those cards.
the 630 credit score range will get most people financed if the credit file is thick
your job is good and youve been there a while?
youve got a good downpayment
anything can be overcome with a downpayment.
