I went to the doctor in January 2005. There must have been some type of error with the insurance because the doctor was never paid.
I filed chapter 7 bankruptcy and it cleared in January of 2006. I didn't include the doctor on the bankruptcy because I never received a bill.
A collection has started showing up on my credit report now, after the bankruptcy. It was not there before. They are also re-reporting it every 6 months.
I disputed this with Experian stating that I had cleared bankruptcy since I incurred the debt. The collection agency responded that the debt was accurate. Is there anything that I can do?
