I have a bankruptcy on my credit report; however, it only shows on Transunion, as I have never filed a BK. I disputed it with Experian and Equifax, both have deleted them; however, for whatever reason Transunion states that the information has been verified and will not delete it. What can I do? I am trying to purchase a house, and this is definitely creating a kink in the process

if you didnt file it
bk should come off
i do not know
where do they verify from
what court
use that number and call and get this straight
report them to your state attorney general or to the FTC.

bankruptcy trustees nor the bankruptcy courts report ANYTHING to credit reporting agencies. your CREDITORS report to credit reporting agencies. i work in bankruptcy and have dealt with this. someone at one of your creditors input a ss# wrong, simple as off by 1 number, and now it's on your credit report. get in contact with every creditor on your credit report to find out where things went wrong and then dispute it with that creditor along with the agency reporting it. the creditor should be able to clear things up when give your personal info. you should get a letter from them and send it to the credit report agency
