Mortgage 30 days late remove and credit card balance reported too high.

My mortgage company was quick to report following a 30 day late last April. However, they have not reported since June 2007. If they did, would that help my credit score. Should I contact them and ask them to report? Also, my credit card balance has not been reported since July 2007, and the balance has been substantially lower for months now.

yes you should ask them to report

and It would have been better IF, I called them on the 30 days late thing, right then, then maybe they might have taken it off, or allowed 1 extra payment this year, or any number of things as long as I don't just let them hang? You know how that feels. If they let you hang you get nervous, but if they call and let you know, you feel better and have something to work with.
i doubt these efforts will increase my score more than 10-15 points,
if any
but it is something that needs needs to be done asap and it could help my credit history score as much as 30 points if the credit card balance was over 80% and now it is less than 80% debt to high credit ratio.
there is no chance of helping if you do not call them.
Verify any phone agreement with something on compnay letterhead.
