I have been trying to get a small loan to pay off old charge offs that has been on my report for over 7 years, what is happening, they seem to keep getting renewed. Do you know how I can go about of paying off these old charge off collections. Will it do any good to pay them off or leave them on. I am wanting to purchase a house in the near future, my credit score is low, 479
