I have a question about what do to about a bad credit score. My credit is nearly perfect except for a blemish from a Ballys Fitness membership that went unpaid for 6 months. The credit card on file never got changed so it was past due for a while. However when notified, I immediately paid off the entire membership (this happened last September 07 and my membership expires October 2008) So this all being said, I tried to have them to take off the derogatory comment on my credit report and they said they would not. I was wondering if you have any advice for this situation. Thanks!
-----------------
it would have been best to negotiate possible future problems on your credit report at the time of paymentof COURSE as it is now. sounds like you have a problem
what i would wonder is why the fitness place and you did not get sideways before 6 MONTHS
i would try harder with the fitness company
beg plead
offer to extend your membership another year, if they would just not respond to a dispute by you that says paid as agreed and on time never late
ask nicely why you were not notified

Negotiate collections, late payments and charge offs with the original creditor
Thank you for your wonderful advice. Even though I've not yet been able to take advantage of anything, I've read the information you have provided and I'm beginning the process of restoring my score.
In #4 of your credit repair advice you suggest, "Negotiate collections, late payments and charge offs with the original creditor. Do not pay before you get a company letter head signed agreement for future disputes." I have a couple of collection accounts for past due medical reported as $1 past due. I sent a certified letter to the original creditor and asked them to send me a signed agreement that they would remove it from my credit report once I paid it in full. Instead, I received a form letter from the "Customer Service Manager" without a signature, saying that they "could not send information tha the account has been paid until after the payment is posted. Once your payment is received and credited to your account the agency will be notified that the account has been paid." Is this form letter sufficient to dispute the account once I've paid it, or should a reclarify that I need a letter on letterhead with a signature saying that they will remove it from my report? I have the money to pay it and the account is less than 1 year old. It is typical of some of the other accounts that I saw on your website. Dr. sends bill to wrong address, so I don't see it until it's too late. Please help.

A judgement has been placed on my credit report without my knowledge
A judgement has been placed on my credit report without my knowledge. I have contacted the apartment complex to whom placed this judgement. I went to the court house I was informed to contact the apt complex. I spoke to the manager, she informed me that she would contact the property manager and take care of the issue, that was back in april 2008 I have tried contacting her on several occasions and have left numerous of messeges no return call. In June 2008 I sent her a certified letter statin my concern, she signed the return receipt card verfiying that she received the letter, I still havent heard back from her. Dispute Validate negotiate and pay collections
I have a collection on my credit report that is actually my wife's. I did not sign the contract, so is there a way to have it removed from my report?
----------------------------
i would validate that legally
i would dispute it with the bureau legally
if they cannot provide all the details
including all itemized bills and work done plus all your personal information and signature i think i would threat suit
do not call them.
do not give them your personal information if they ask you to verify who you are
make them prove that
-------------------------
Thank You. I think your web site is great, it has been a big help to me. I was also wondering if the creditors or collection agency's will not agree to have debts erased from my report will paying them off in full still help raise my score?
--------------------
i did that myself
read this
---------------------- I "Bo Majors" had a charge off for 345 dollars in 1990 with BO Oil credit card. In 1992 I called them and told them I needed good credit and that I would pay the 345.00 and add and extra 300.00 down payment to start new good credit. They agreed. I charged gas and paid extra each month for 12 months. I called and asked them BP Oil to remove anything older than 24 months which was a charge off, 5, 30 days late, 2, 60 days late and 1, 90 days late and they did. My I checked my credit report and everything with BP Oil now said 400.00+ high credit limit with 0.00 dollars owed and a perfect "no lates" payment record. My score jumped huge in less than 13 months. The best fix bad credit move I ever made. Negotiate and pay. I "Bo Majors" also had a bad credit collection from getting stitches at the local medical clinic. The medical clinic sold my bad debt to a collection agency within 120 days. After about 1 years I called the collection agency and asked if I paid the bill off in full would they remove the bad credit from my report. They said only the medical clinic could authorize that. I called the clinic and got an ok for the collection agency to take the debt off if I would pay the debt in full with fees right now to the clinic. I called the collection agency who called the clinic and we had a deal. I paid in full and the collection agency removed the bad credit. My score jumped right then.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
first it may hurt your score with a new date
in one year or less it will help because your debt / credit limit ratio for that account will go from 100% to 0%
the main thing to raise ones scores is to have some open credit that is reported to a bureau and is older than 12 monthsthe number one best way to raise your score these are all great cards and the applied visa will appove anyone with a downpayment

Just wanted to thank you for the free credit help
I belong to a program called, TrueCredit and they monitor my credit reports each month and also I can pull free reports and credit scores there at will. I recently had a derogatory thing drop off my reports so I decided to pull my new scores. Last year at this time my scores were:537 Transunion599 Experian615 Equifax On July 9 I "re-ran" my updated credit scores to see if there was any change and there was. On that day they were:658 Transunion632 Experian 610 Equifax I was SOOOOOOOO excited to see that my scores were going up. However, on July 9th I also entered some disputes (there was one derogatory that was over 7 years old and I asked that it be removed.) So I decided to refresh my scores one more time on July 11. When I did, I was shocked to see that Experian and Equifax has LOWERED MY SCORES by more than 40 points each, even though there has been no change to my credit reports in the two days between the July 9th score update and when I pulled them July 11. Here was the result on July 11:658 Transunion (NO change here!) 596 Experian 573 Equifax The last two are significantly lower than my credit scores have ever been in my lifetime. Since nothing derogatory was added to my credit report in that two day window, what do you think happened and how can I get this fixed?
--------------------------------------
true credit should give you that answer
makes no sense to me at all should be higher the only reason it shold be lower would be if you charged up a credit card or something
to more than 80% balance to high credit ratio

Contractot took all the money I gave him and left town
My name is David and I found you on line this morning. Here is my situation. I just got screwed by a contractor and I gave him all my money for new home being built. In the meantime he still has not payed the builder and the plumber and the contractor states he has no more money. So the builder and the plumber filed a mechanics lien on my house. Since then we have retained a lawyer and the builder and plumbers lawyer is pushing for a foreclosure on my house. The bank in the meantime stated they have to protect them and are going to have to answer by filing a petition to foreclose. I called the corporate office a transunion and talked to a young lady and she stated it has to do with what the bank puts in the report if it is going to affect my credit. The banker is worried that when filed at the courthouse that there is a petition that this is public record and this will show up and affect my credit. Could you help me on this matter

Validate dispute and raise my credit score
I am writing to you again. Still trying and persevering to improve credit score. I went from 452 to 471 in one week, and then Capital One account from 1999 and one from 2000 hit me with a report to credit bureau. So I called the credit bureau and they told me 7 to 10 years it can stay on there. So then I called Cap One and she took my social and said she had nothing come up when she punched in my number. What do you think I should do?? Should I send off that letter of validation? It was like I got punched when I saw my score drop after I watched it go up a little bit. The Cap One accounts are charge offs, derogatory, closed accounts that won't go away. They had limits of 200 and 500 and now have balances of 1440 and 2200......Please help
---------------------------------
i would dispute the accounts first through the three credit bureaus as not yours or an error
then maybe do the validate thing if cap one can't find the account under your social
a dispute should garner the same results I would think or assume.
----------------------------------
Thanks Bo!!! I already have ongoing dispute going, so I guess when that one concludes, I will dispute the two Cao One accounts and send validate letter after that dispute is over. I'm not giving up!!!
-------------------------------
How ya doin? Just wanted to ask question - I put in dispute for the two Capital One cards and now I got a credit alert on my credit report saying that Cap One has changed date from N/A to N/A. Do you know what that means? Thanks
--------------------------------------
that means they should take that dang thing off
combat this with validation
then valdiate follow up
then call state attorney general
-------------------------
Well, I disputed with credit bureau and it comes back as REMAINS. Verified to be accurate. Yet when I call them, no record. So now I will send the letter.....Will keep you posted
---------------------------
vaidate and take them to court
-------------------------
Just wanted to let you know I am up 100 points since I started a month ago. I had the Cap One accounts removed from Trans Union, and I am disputing the age with the other two bureaus. If one credit bureau takes them off, do you think the others will follow? Thanks for all your help.

they should
way to go

Hey Bo I need some help here
Hey Bo! Hello my name is West and right now my credit score is 548 (I know it sucks) but what I wanted to ask you was can I remove old student
loans that went into default and closed but then i paid them
(they show as paid but i know they still are negatively effecting my score) and some old closed chargeoffs? Plus does piggybacking still work
(even a little)? I'm going back into the military, the army and my new job in there will require a top secret security clearence wich means they will check my credit so i'm trying to get things off and the score up as much and as fast as possible. I figure I have 2 to 4 months. I know I should have done this along time ago.
P.S. What is the average jump in score I can expect by removing a few of these items? P.S.S. I am a credit report dummy! I never even looked at my report till here recently and I mean ever!
-------------------------------
you can try
it may or may not workdispute them as not yours piggy
backing no longer works i think
new law the thing to do is get new good credit going
if you have no good credit then all anyone sees is the old bad credit
if you do have new good credit the old bad credit looks much less bad and your score jumps
-------------------------Applied Bank Secured Visa® Credit Card- Best card to help really bad credit. You WILL be APPROVED and reported to bureaus for good credit but you have to deposit funds to overcome the really bad credit. AKA secured credit card. these folks apporve anyone------------------------
I must have at least 3 reported credit lines that are current the past two years) and rated (open at least 12 months).
This is the very best way to raise a credit score 50 -250 points over no more than a 2 year period and sometimes in as little as 6 months.
Pay any credit lines down to less than 80% debt to maximum high credit limit. If I bought a car or home in the past year or so, my score will be lower because I owe the total I could borrow. One could borrow the total amount and pay the down payment after the loan originates to pre-empt lower scores with car loans.
Negotiate collections, late payments and charge offs with the original creditor. Do not pay before you get a company letter head signed agreement for future disputes.
Validate any duplicate collections. Collection dates cannot overlap the original creditor dates. Most collections pay 20 on the dollar so negotiate lower payouts. File Complaints with the FTC if a collection agency fails legally verify they own my debt. Raise score 50 - 100 points.
Dispute errors here. Use certified priority mail.
Have all 3 totally free credit reports and scores. Quickly decide what bad credit I might have the best chance to raise my credit score fast. Monitor progress.
Pay off all legally verified debts and ask for total removal or paid in full as agreed when I agree to make payments or settlements. Raise score 10-80 points fast. Get sign agreement on company letterhead before you pay.
Eliminate local finance company loans.
Local finance company loans look bad and often times show up in duplicates from refinancing. Raise my credit score 10-30 points free.
Re open any closed credit cards that are reporting past bad credit and pay perfect for 1 - 2 years. Then ask the creditor to report only the past 24 months activity because revolving credit is rated only 24 months anyway. Raise score 100 points.
If I cannot find past bad creditors, then I dispute the credit as not mine.

Credit Help with court summons and dispute reply
Thank you for your example letters. I sent a validation letter to a creditor and I certifierd w/signature and it has been more then 30 days.I also disputed with the credit bureau all 3.
what would be m next step should i contact or send copys for certify to credit bureaus? Also one of the creditor sent me a summons letter right after they got my certify letter from me.
What does that mean? Please help me ....
------------------------------------
anything not replied back from the collections or creditors within 30 days should be disputed with the 3 bureaus as not your account summons means they would like to take you to court.
If they cannot provide the information you requested. they may be bluffing.
I would call or go by the court and see what if anything the summons means to the court on the papers
and
what evidence they may have. if they do have decent evidence. You might need to consider paying them or arrianging settlment before it gets to court and a judgment is rendered against you.
-----------------------------------
Dispute through the bureaus …
Reporting has been ruled to be a "collection activity" …
although it wasn't specifically stated verifying that a debt is owed would also be a prohibited collection activity prior to providing validation if requested.
What is a totally free credit report and what about my credit score
hi bo, i am a senior citizen and desparately need to know how to get my credit reports asap. i am not computer savvy and have also been told not to use the internet to obtain these from the 3 agencies. there are some errors reported by 2 banks which have seriously altered my fico. don't even know how i stumbled across your website . was using another computer, and now that i have returned home, decided to try to e-mail you for info. i need to correct this immediately. have tried phone but can't get a live human. HELP! thanks
------------------------------------
you can mail this free credit report form next day air
but to get your score you really need to use the computer and a credit card with visa, master card, discover or american express as the issuer using your credit card ensures you have some safety really
the card issuer assume some responsibilty as far as fraud and theft. AND you really need all three scores at each bureau I would assumethe scores is where the free stuff gets quirky.
there are really NO free scores. UNLESS you get monitoring with a company that sells monitoring and, the scores come with the report you get for free, with the monitoring.many of these companies make it more enticing by saying free if you cancel in so many days and they hide the so many days as far down as they can. this is what i do.i get the 3 reports and 3 scores online and cancel right then.
while i am still thinking about it and in the same place. NOW if you want to dispute some errors.
you can and should do that with this form, right now, by certified delivery mail.
use the addresses on the page you print for transunion, experian, equifax.

Help with credit report and date of delquency
found your website and have used alot of the information on it to fight some of my mis information on the credit report. However, I am having problems with enforceing the "accuracy" issue with transunion. I have an account with them that went to collections on 4/2004. Well they are reporting to the credit bureaus the date of first delinquency of 4/2004 but anyone can use their brain to know this is not the first date of delinquency as defined by the FTC. The first missed payment (not with the collections company) was prior to 4/2004 and the transunion rep keeps replying that they spoke directly with the collections department and they verified verbally the information is accurate, but still after four letter requesting proof - no change on date. The reps even agree that an account must have some prior delinqency other than the date that it was transferred into collections. If you have any tricks please help.

if your talking about the first creditor not the collections
the collection date will be different than the first creditor the first creditor and the collection cannot have the same date or overlaping dates and still be legal. did you use the legal debt validation forms
these forms can form a legal trail needed for court.
--------------------------
Thanks - Could you look at this and confirm it please. According to FTC Link http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/pubs/buspubs/infopro.shtm under delinquencies Just run down to the highlighted spot from the exerpt below. I believe that is the situtation I find myself in. The FTC indicates that the collection company still has to use the original date of delinquency or the date of the first missed scheduled payment. Thanks
6. Reporting Delinquencies -- Section 623(a)(5). If you report information about a delinquent account that's placed for collection, charged to profit or loss, or subject to any similar action, you must, within 90 days after you report the information, notify the CRA of the month and the year of the commencement of the delinquency that immediately preceded your action. This will ensure that CRAs use the correct date when computing how long derogatory information can be kept in a consumer's file. How do you report accounts that you have charged off or placed for collection? For example: A consumer becomes delinquent on March 15, 1998. The creditor places the account for collection on October 1, 1998. In this case, the delinquency began on March 15, 1998. The date that the creditor places the account for collection has no significance for calculating how long the account can stay on the consumer's credit report. In this case, the date that must be reported to CRAs within 90 days after you first report the collection action is "March 1998." A consumer falls behind on monthly payments in January 1998, brings the account current in June 1998, pays on time and in full every month through October 1998, and thereafter makes no payments. The creditor charges off the account in December 1999. In this case, the most recent delinquency began when the consumer failed to make the payment due in November 1998. The earlier delinquency is irrelevant. The creditor must report the November 1998 date within 90 days of reporting the charge-off.
For example, if the creditor charges off the account in December 1999, and reports this charge-off on December 31, 1999, the creditor must provide the month and year of the delinquency (i.e., "November 1998") within 90 days of December 31, 1999. A consumer's account becomes delinquent on December 15, 1997. The account is first placed for collection on April 1, 1998. Collection is not successful. The merchant places the account with a second collection agency on June 1, 2003.
The date of the delinquency for reporting purposes is "December 1997." Repeatedly placing an account for collection does not change the date that the delinquency began. A consumer's credit account becomes delinquent on April 15, 1998. The consumer makes partial payments for the next five months but never brings the account current.
The merchant places the account for collection in May of 1999. Since the account was never brought current during the period that partial payments were made, the delinquency that immediately preceded the collection commenced in April 1998 when the consumer first became delinquent.

Questions about pay for deletion
I just had a question about the pay for deletion. All of these accounts are in collections already and have been for I think less than two years. I have a Dillard's account that was opened in 2006. I owe $708.32. The company that has it now is Allied Interstate or LVNV Funding LLC who may have given AlliedInterstate authoriziation to have it placed in their agency. And by the way, do you know anything about AlliedInterstate at all? I have a Cell phone bill account in collections with the name of West Asset Management. I owe 719.61 And then another account with bank of america in United Recovery Systems for 1374.15 I also have a hospital bill of 3882.91 of Credit World Services Inc. but I am wanting to pay the other accounts of first. Also are you familar with any of these companies? I just wanted to know the steps in paying these off and having them deleted off my credit report. Some say you should validate first, but who are you validating to? And also could I settle on making payment arrangements with the collection agency for lets say 3 payments in no less than 90 days or would it be better to negotiate for the balance in full for deletion. Do you think they would work with me on making payments for deletion of just for the balance in full? Also for the letter, what do you put in such a letter? When they send you the agreed to deletion letter, do you send that to the credit bureau agencies to take it off your credit report?
I know this is such a long email but I wanted to give you a little bit of a background.
----------------------------------
not familiar with any of those companies at all
i would call the original creditors FIRST then then collection agencies tell them you are willing to pay with some credit help.
if they will let some of the collections or past late payments goyou will pay in full including feesbut at the very least the collections have to come of my report.
see what happenes read this

Fax number to all three credit bureaus
Can someone please assist me. I am looking for the fax telephone numbers for all 3 credit bureaus. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
--------------------
do not use the fax
use certified delivery mail only i used to keep fax numbers up
but they kept changing them.and all you know is you have faxed something to some number
you do not know that someone for sue got it
or that it ws the right number. it is not worth the trouble
need credit help
i have moved from a rental property because the house was a mess,
sewage( raw ) sewage was actually floating in the driveway
pips bursted in the basement destroying things i cannot replace due to water damage
i have counter sued these people and a court date was set for july they did not show up another datte was schuled and it has not arrived yet in the meanwhile,
they put eviction on my credit report which is just not so!!! all the rent was paid and in fact they owe me money how can they do this????
im very upset as i;m trying to buy a trailor is there any help you can render
------------------
usually if they do not show upa verdict is rendered in your favour
isn't it.
must be a big rental agency to be reporting.
or did they do something in court or at the county courthouse about eviction? The best thing I know to do is to go to the court house if so. if they just reported something that is not true
they could be in violation of the FCRA as far as proper collection procedures.one is not allowed to improperly report as a part of a collections process
I would validate and dispute the debt in writing if so.
that way you can have some paper trail for your court case. as far as getting a trailer is concerned.
right now you will have to find someone who does not check your credit i guess.
------------------------
i dont know how it got there but the real estate agency has denied doing this but its too late now anyway they wont let me in the park at this point
-------------------------
use this dispute form
and dispute the account with all three bureaus
it should come right off if they deny putting the account on your report.
might take 20 - 35 days but when it does you should get right in if it falls right off.
some piece of the puzzle is misssing
debt managment services
About a year and a half ago, Sean, my friend, signed up with a credit counseling program to help manage his overwhelming debt. From my experience with these programs, since I, myself, participated in one to pay of my debt, is that they make great efforts to lower interest rates and eliminate fees. At least mine did.
I used Cambridge Credit, and I know they’ve had legal issues, but they worked great for me. He uses Freedom Debt Management, and it appears as though they have not done anything to lower his APRs. It also seems odd to me that they don’t send him a monthly statement showing the breakdown of where his money is going. And, their website is less than helpful. Almost all communications with them is through email. The good thing is, payments are, in fact, being made to his credit cards, with a monthly fee of $30.
I was wondering, If he cancelled his service with FDM, how does this affect his credit? I believe that he could negotiate better rates himself, and that extra $30/mo could help pay down a card a bit faster. Is it wise to cancel and do it yourself? Or will he see a spike in his already high interest rates? If he did cancel the debt management program, would he be able to remove that mark from his credit report?
My other question relates to authorized users on credit cards. Sean is currently going through a divorce, so the marital debt will be assigned accordingly, but, He is an “authorized user” on many of the credit cards, including some within the program above. It is my understanding that you can add anyone as an authorized user to a card, and they don’t sign an agreement to the terms of the card. If this is the case, can he be held liable for the charges? Is it appropriate if he writes to each card to have his user status removed? And with a balance on the cards, is it likely they will remove him? It just seems to me like a credit card shouldn’t be able to report late payments on a credit report for an “authorized user” who never even agreed to the terms.

I have bad credit. And I am trying to fix it.
Bad thing is that I already made pymt arrangements for my Target, Household (which was sold), and my Capital One Card which will all be paid in Jan.
and show PAID IN FULL.. I didn't negotiate. I didn't even know how. So once I am done with paying those off how do I go about getting them to show Pays as agreed on my credit report and taking all the bad off? I know I will have to request a new card, so I guess I am trying to figure out how do I go about getting them to show pays as agreed and taking all the bad off my credit report? Please help me..
I am a single mother of 3 and I am trying to clear my credit report. I do have JC PENNY AND SAMUELS that I also need to pay but haven't contacted them just yet. I am taking care of these 3 first. Target will actually be paid off on Aug 8th and then they will send me a Release Letter, when I recieve that should I fax it to the 3 credit bureaus?
---------------------------
they should all report to the bureaus that your debt is paid
or it is a violation of the FCRA but you might need to ask or make sure they do that
zero balance owedthe past bad and late marks will not be removed unless you pre negotiated. UNLESS you re open the same accounts with a down or pre payment
and pay good for 12 to 24 months
then ask them to only report the past 24 months activity.
sometimes this can be done sometimes not. if you wish to make sure stuff shows paid without calling
just dispute the accounts with the free dispute form on my website
say paid in full and as agreed.... you might get lucky and get thatmore than likely they will return reciept showing paid off zero balance fax nothing
certified delivery mailyou can mail the release letters.
make sure you include copies of your drivers license and electric bill
---------------------------
On the Form it shows Account paid in full is that what I check?
Do I have to do anything with this part of the Form
And I live with my Mom so I don't have an electric bill.
What about an account statement?
Who do I send this Form to? Sorry I am new at this.
Also, If I do this
Overlap past bad credit with present good credit. Do like I did. Mail BP OIL $200 and ask to open an account so you can establish credit, then charge your gas. YOU HAVE TO BUY GAS. Pay some extra each month. Use this letter. What if they cash the money order and I don't recieve a card? How will I get my money back?
----------------------
I would check account paid paid in full and check account never late and status incorrect
you have included only the collections section.
are you saying you are dealing with collectors and not target and the other primary or first lenders
if so let me know
send in a copy of your social security card with your license
the addresses are on the second page of form
transunion, experian, equifax
----------------------
call them before you send in the application
tell them what you are doing
this is a great card
Applied Bank Secured Visa® Credit Card- Best card to help really bad credit. You WILL be APPROVED and reported to bureaus for good credit but you have to deposit funds to overcome the really bad credit. AKA secured credit card.
--------------------
Dealing with the collections people..
--------------------
well you sould call the original creditors too
tell them what you want to do
fix your bad credit with new good credit
-----------------------
I was thinking of just calling lexington..Is that good?

3-in-1 Credit Report
My fiancee and I recently pulled up his 3-in-1 credit report and noticed discrepancies on all bureau but mostly on the Experian Credit Bureau. We called all agencies listed on the report and they verified that although it was the same name the accounts had different social numbers and mailing addresses. When I spoke to a representative of one of the listed agencies, he stated that Experian goes first by name, then address and then social security number. Is that true? If so, how is that fair to the millions of people that share the same name? Also I read on your blog that you should write about 4 accts at a time, well we are dealing with about 11!!!! 11 mistakes from Experian, all already confirmed by the collection agencies, which also stated it wasn't rare of Experian to mix identities up. Also when you state on your blog to send a copy of the credit report, is it the whole 12 pages or just the part in concern (may sound like a silly question but want to do this right), and the credit report shows each item with each credit bureau right next to each other. If I send a dispute item to Experian, should I covered the report from TransUnion and Equifax about such item, or doesn't really matter? Thank you so much!!!!!
---------------------------------------
is there anyone that I should write to regarding Experian.
I mean, I have 2 other people's security numbers, their address, phone, work place, spouse name, etc.
That makes me believe that my fiancee's info is in other people's report as well and may be use wrongly as well. Those are very delicate mistakes and unfair to those who have decent credit and are getting such credit denied. Is there such a thing as a company we could write to about Experian and complaint about their services.
I mean are the credit bureaus GOD? Is this the end of the road...writting them letter and hopefully updating our information at their convenient time, or can we write to CRA?
------------------------------
you can complain to your state consumer affairs division, attorney general, bbb, chamber of commerce and even file small claims in the proper area for such claims.
Plus you can dispute and validate to lay documanted groundwork for your claims.
---------------------------------
Sorry got a little lost on the "plus you can dispute and validate to lay documented groundwork for your claims", can you ellaborate a little more for me?
------------------------------
you should dispute with the bureaus and the collections agencies
you should validate the debt with the collection agencies and follow up if they do not fully comply
if they miss represent themselves you can complain to the state attorney or consumer affairs, bbb, chamber, or file siut in small claims or more.
