Graduate with student loans. Full scholarship athlete

I am a recent graduate of Temple University where I have about $7,000 in Student Loans, where I have been on time. I have some medical bills that are outstanding; however they occur as a direct result of my Track and Field Career at that school where I was a full scholarship athlete. I know that these bill are covered by the school, because I was insured under their policy. I have been disputing these bills FOREVER. I believe it's because of those bills that I cannot obtain additional credit. What can I do? I need to open two more lines of credit. I have a decent job and I don't have any problems making a down payment for credit. Please advise
