Parking tickets on credit report. I paid the collection.

Is there any way to get parking tickets off your credit report?
I was told by the collection company if I paid they would take them off.
they didnt and said that is not there policy?
what can a guy do?

should have gotten something in writing on compnay letterhead
paid in full and as agreed

get and keep new good credit
2 years from now it wont hurt your score at all.
