My husband has a medical collection account on his credit report that does not belong to him, besides this my husband has excellent credit, not even as much as a late pay on his credit report. I called the collection agency to try to get any information about this as I could, but they would not disclose any information to me as this account isn't his or mine. However they did verify the address wasnt correct and the social security number didnt match my husbands. PLEASE tell me what I can do to have this removed from his credit report. Do I need to send a letter to the bureau's explaining this, or do I only have to send the form you have on your website? If I have to send a letter, do you have a sample letter I can follow?? PLEASE HELP, we are desparate.
Thank you in advance for your help and prompt attention
