2800 dollars on a medical bill that is not mine, Where do I go?

My credit report shows a balance of 2800 dollars on a medical bill that is not mine. I believe it may be my sons. I have no idea who put this in my file or why it was charged to me. There is a collection agency involved but there is no info on the report. Where do I go?
