Paid Charge offs or bills

Now what can I do to have the negative items removed from my credit report. Should I send proof to the bureaus that this information has been paid off. Or should I ask the creditors to do it.

paid
and
"paid as agreed and on time"
are 2 different matters totally
The former will get a marked as paid but still the lates will show up.
paid as agreed and on time will remove the negatives and increase your score.
i would suggest marking them
NOT MY ACCOUNT and hope for the best
at the very least you will acomplish what you wish in that upon contacting the creditor your account will be updated as you wish. PAID.
At the most you might see it fall off completely.
