Debt Management and Credit Scores

Quoting REAL PERSON
Hi Bo,
For the past 4 years, I have been enrolled in a debt management program. I have been very successful in paying off most of my creditors. Actually, I started out w/ 7 creditors and I am not down to 2 that still have balances. Do I need to do anything (such as fill out a dispute form or contact the creditors directly) so that most of the creditors can take off the bad credit from my credit score? I am in desperate need of improving my score. Any advice that you can offer will be great.
Thanks. Real Person

Debt Management helps you with debt not scores.
Many times a debt will show settled, or in debt management and will still show the lates.

My best advice would be to
1 open up some new reportable accounts and pay well
for 2 years.
2 dispute all the bad debt and hope for the best
3 if they do not come off, add a comment to each with a letter
4 hire lex law and see if they can help
