Hey Bo, I sent a creditor a debt validation letter as per your advice. They failed to respond within the thirty days required by the FCRA. I sent the letter certified and I have proof that it was received. I sent a second letter to inform them that they have failed to verify this debt and by law MUST remove it from my credit file. That letter was also sent by certified mail. I still havent had any response. What should I do next? Thanks for all your help...Jay Jay

if that does not do it
Call your state attorney general. and use the the yahooo credit repair board
if you would like to really hammer the collections agency.
these folks bomb collection agencies

Hey Bo,
I have over ten accounts with Verizon with different account numbers that have been reported on my credit report. They are all with different collection agencies. I asked Verizon to provide me with verification that these are my accounts and have not been consolidated. They told me that it would cost me $5.00 for each account statement. Is this correct?
Q1 Are those all your accounts?
