My husband and I have a lot of items that are past due on our credit reports and we are finally going to fix our credit. Do you recommend just consolidating everything into one monthly bill or take one bill at a time and negotiate one at a time? Thank you

thats a case by case study
i would venture a guess
legally validate each debt first
then negotiate each debt, tell them you make one in full payment not a payment schedule
if you cannot find a creditor dispute the accounts
then consolidate all settled and non settled debts

Chapter 13 shows account over 60 days late after bankruptcy
We filed a chapter 13 (it was completed and discharged in Jan. 2007) We pulled a credit report on ourselves and relized that during the full length of our chapter 13 BOK reported our payments as 120-180 days delinquent. According to my bk attorney that is not leagal and they have to report payments as made post petition. Can you help me find the law that requires this? BOK say it is their policy to report it that way because we were "contracturally" late due to the BK. I want to dispute it but I want to be able to quote the law that they are violating
-------------------------
go to yahoo groups
credit repair
there are a bunch of lawyers that trawl that group
one might have a law they can recite
I do not know law
i do know that is not right and probably illegal
they should say included in bk and no further credit activity
or call your state attorney general and / or file a compliant with your state attorney general online
that should nip it
