Excellent site... I have a question regarding inquiries. I know they remain on your credit file for 2 years, but is there any way to dispute those and get them removed, paticularly ones from collection agencies?

Collection agency's do not have authrization to make inquiries since you have not given them consent. I would confront the agency in question and suggest they remove not only the inquiry but the account also or face sanctions by the FTC. Make a copy of your report so the incedent will be recorded.
