Your credit website info is fantastic! Thank you for posting this info. I'm 40...
and never knew about the 80% rule.
Do you know if the major component of the 80% rule is:
1. an average across all trade lines? or
2. 80% rule on "each" individual trade line?
It's probably both...but is the larger component an "avg across all trade lines"?
Thank you.

The rule is for each trade line...
Not the average of all trade lines.
thanks for the compliment.

Quoting REAL PERSON
Hi Bo, I have disputed and disputed charges on my credit report and it still is there. I am fully aware that they are supposed to remove it in 30 days. However that has not ever happened what am I doing wrong?

The question I would ask IS: Are they accurate? If so just disputing will not remove credit files they must be in error or maybe mistaken or old. What is the situation?
--------------
They are not mine and were done in states that I have never lived or been to
in my life.
-------------
Well I would:
1. Make sure my disputes were mailed confirmation delivery.
2. Make sure I included detailed personal information. ie. copy of ss card,
drivers license, phone bill, insurance card.
3. Keep copies and send the copies to the BBB
4. Keep copies and send them to the FTC
5. If they are being removed then placed back on later. Which I suspect. I
would place and credit fraud warning on my account regarding thos accounts and
any new credit inqiries.
